It has been a while since I have been writing about the luxury industry, which is one of my passions as a creative and a strategist. Also made a decision to write in the English language because it is a global language of one billion people. Therefore, it is wiser to write in English because sharing is caring, and my international friends will know what I am writing about.
People have noticed that some buyers are extremely afraid of luxury brands. They are scared to visit shops and shop-in-shops in department stores. One of the reasons behind scariness is the illusion that every single visitor has to buy something, and salespersons will aggressively make you buy something. These people may have very bad experiences with fast fashion and premium brands, which may have forced them to buy something, or at least they have tried to do so.
One of the basic principles of luxury selling is not to push sales. Luxury selling, when it is done in a correct manner, is about soft selling. Hence, salespersons will never ask for deals or ask you to buy anything. Luxury sellers are also used to shoppers who will visit their shop for many times but they have not bought a single item. But in the future, they might buy something, very expensive, perhaps. It is allowed to pop in and out. As many times as you like. Therefore, you can always visit a luxury shop knowing that no one will never hard sell you anything. Luxury sellers will just showcase some products and services when asked.
Do not be afraid of luxury brands because they are the kindest brands on earth. Just visit them. Be curious. Admire astonishing creations. Relaxed.
