Yes, am Finnish but was exposed to British, Swedish, Danish, and American cultures in my childhood. Why Finland did not have a luxury business theory book in 2015? Well, the country has a very tiny luxury market because only over five million people are living in Finland. However, Finland's luxury culture is very old. Finland was a part of the Kingdom of Sweden and then part of Imperial Russia.
Today Finland's luxury sector is booming. Foreign visitors have discovered modern Finland, which is a Nordic country. Thanks to digitalisation Finland can be promoted very easily. There is also another side of the coin. Finnish brands can effortlessly market their brands around the world. Foreign visitors from big cities might wonder that Finland does not have full-collection luxury stores. Again, Finland is a very small country.
In Spring 2015, approached Finnish publishing houses, and every single publishing house rejected the book idea because they said that the reader market is very small. But no one thought that there might be a hidden desire for such a book. Again, thanks to digitalisation Amazon was able to publish my book.
